I’m so behind on blogging about my babies because adequately capturing their personalities and adorable traits in a blog post seems so daunting to me. So, unfortunately I just haven’t been writing at all! It’s so important for my own sake that I do, since I’m not good at keeping a baby book! Here goes…
Shelley Boldair - Well it’s incredible how quickly they’ve grown up!! I wonder how different they will be next year as they seem to change so much. And I’m curious to see what they think of moving to a new place. All their things and toys and beds in different surroundings. Hehe! Just don’t you forget to take a whole mess of “before” shots of that new house so we can all enjoy your “afters!”
Anonymous - Have you ever heard of positive discipline? It focuses on telling the child what you WANT them to do versus “no” and what they can’t do. It also helps them identifying what they are feeling as a reason for acting out in a tantrum. Such as, Abe, you are frustrated because I had you stop playing with the ball for snack time, it’s time to eat your banana.
Once I learned and practiced positive discipline with my child, it made so much sense and was a true game changer in the way I parented and the way my child responded to me.
Julie - I just wanted to say that my son is an Abram too and is 15 months old as well! It’s funny bc I found you when I was researching twin blogs bc we are expecting twins in May :) I loved your pregnancy pics! Thnx for sharing!
